Occupational Interest Profile +

What does the Occupational Interest Profile + measure?

The Occupational Interests Profile + (OIP+) provides a comprehensive assessment for career development and guidance.

OIP+ is made up of an occupation interest questionnaire, along with a measure of 'personal work needs'.

Originally developed following trials on school leaves, this assessment has been extended for use with older adults.

Assessing eight vocational interests and five personal work needs, this assessment identifies work areas which an individual is likely to enjoy, whereas the work needs assesses how well suited they are do different environments.

With a focus on career exploration and choice, reports are intended to provide a basis of discussion.

Quick to administer whilst producing a detailed assessment, the OIP+ provides a psychometrically sound solution for individuals engaged in vocational guidance.

Suitable for a variety of people from those with a basic level of education, through to professional and managerial groups, the OIP+ is usually used with the GRT2 to provide an extended career assessment.
