Our client a leading FMCG facility are looking for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team.
  
Our client operates a very high safety standards and you will liaise with Shift Managers, Health & Safety Managers and other team members, instilling confidence and taking ownership. Your remit includes supervising contractor visits and ensuring safe systems and permits to work.
  
The site is open 24 hours a day 7 days per week and successful candidates will be on rotational shifts to cover these times.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Requirements

• NVQ 3 or BTEC qualified multi-skilled maintenance engineer with demonstrable experience in a similar role
• Manufacturing experience with evidence of PPM implementation, delivery and control
• Background in a manufacturing environment, print/packaging would be an advantage
• Experienced in Continuous Improvement methodology e.g. 5S, Lean Manufacturing, Root Cause Analysis and Practical Problem-Solving techniques
• Ability to handle stock control, and supplier communication and correspondence via a variety of integrated business systems

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer – Responsibilities

• Required to monitor asset performance and maintenance effectiveness and identify and prioritise areas for continuous improvement focus
• Supervising contractor visits and ensuring safe systems and permits to work.
