Construction Project Coordinator - Manufacturing & Engineering - Chester - Salary up to £32,000

In addition, our client are also the UK’s leading specialist in lead engineering. We design, manufacture, and install radiation shielding and other products for the nuclear, defence, healthcare, construction, industrial and research markets.
 
Construction Project Coordinator - The Package
 
Working from our Chester site, you’ll be employed on a permanent contract, working Monday to Thursday 8.30am to 5pm and Friday 8.30am to 12.30pm. You will benefit from:

• Salary in the region of £30,000 to £32,000, with the level dependent on experience
• 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays

Construction Project Coordinator - Responsibilities
 
Reporting to the Project Manager, as a Construction Project Coordinator you will work closely with and support the Head of Shielding Installations to ensure that all projects are completed on time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
 
Your duties will include:

• Working with the Shielding Installations project team to prepare and maintain comprehensive action plans including resources, timeframes, and budgets
• Coordinating tasks such as scheduling and risk management, as well as administrative duties to maintain project documentation
• Organising travel and accommodation
• Collaborating with clients and internal teams to deliver results within deadlines
• Handling general project queries

Construction Project Coordinator - Requirements

• Proven experience as a Project Coordinator within the construction industry
• Experience working on projects from conception to delivery
• Ability to work with architectural specifications and Bill of Quantities and Bill of Materials
• Strong IT literacy including a high level of working knowledge of Microsoft Project and Excel
• Solid organisational, multitasking, and time management skills
• Superb communication and teamwork skills

Although not essential, experience working within the healthcare sector or qualifications in CSCS, SSSTS, ONC/OND or similar would be advantageous.
