Account Manager - Freight Forwarding - Leeds - Up to £35,000  + Commission
 
The business is a long-established Freight Forwarding provider with multiple sites across the UK. The office is a relaxed but professional atmosphere and a great working environment. They offer career stability and career progression. This position is based just south of Leeds.
 
The position of account manager will be looking after a large portfolio of clients. These clients are going to be multimodal (air, sea, and road). You will be assisting customers with any queries, as well as building relationships and helping to grow the business with the client. Commission is paid on the book of business given to you from day one, and higher levels of commission for any new customers that you develop.

• Salary up to £35,000

Account Manager - Requirements

• Experience working for a freight forwarder
• Experienced in start to finish ocean operations, from quotation up to final delivery
• Sound understanding of freight forwarding operations and logistics capabilities
• Excellent communication skills
• Ideally multimodal experience (air, sea, and road)
• Internal sales experience would be advantageous
