Sprinkler Design Engineer - Facilities Management - London - Up to £45,000

About the company 

We are working with an established Fire Sprinkler Installation & Maintenance organisation, who works with Commercial Clients on new build and refurbishment projects throughout the UK.
Due to growth and a full order book for 2023 and into 2024 already are requiring an additional Design Engineers.

The organisation turns over £15Million + each year, and are open to designers working from the office or home who have good transport links into Central London for any surveys they may need to complete.

Sprinkler Design Engineer - Requirements  
  • Experience working within Piping, or Fire sprinkler industries would be desirable
  • Good technical understanding of engineering drawings
  • Working knowledge and industry experience using Autocad and/or Solidworks is desirable or other 2D or 3D packages.
  • Knowledge of other integrated M&E or Fire/ Security product installations would be desirable although training will be provided to the suitable candidate
  • Ability to work as a team member, and work with own initiative
  • Ability to communicate effectively.
  • Excellent organizational skills
Sprinkler Design Engineer – Responsibilities 
  • Undertake all aspects of creating drawings from Customer enquiries and surveys
  • Generating working piping and installation customer drawings
  • Maintaining and developing good working relationships with customers and suppliers
  • Able to prepare material take-offs and manufacturing schedules from engineering drawings for the installation phase of the projects, for pre-construction procurement.
