Site Electrician - The Rewards 

• £41,800 plus benefits 

Site Electrician - Requirements 

• GCSE Maths / English, Grades A-C, or equivalent.  Electrical qualification.
•  Knowledge of heavy industry electrics.  Have basic mechanical skills.
• Prior experience in electrical/mechanical breakdowns.
• Competent in Microsoft Office packages and Outlook. Good spoken and written English.
• Positive attitude
• Excellent communication skill, both verbal and written
• Ability to present information effectively
• Time aware and able to work to/meet tight deadlines.
• Be able to work well under pressure.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
• Be able to work well individually and in a team.

Site Electrician - Responsibilities

• Working under Health & Safety guidelines. Site Electrical installations and upgrade work around plants.
• Electrical maintenance of Plant including ppm system.
• Attending and rectifying electrical breakdowns on Energy and Rendering divisions.
• Maintenance of lighting systems including emergency lighting.
• Electrical Maintenance of offices.
• Training of apprentices.
• Environmental and general compliance under IPPC regulations and EMS 14001 accreditation.
• Knowledge of 3 phase 415v Motor drives 0.75kw – 160kw (including star / delta control) and motor inverter controls.
• Good control panel fault finding skills (24VDC – 415VAC).
• Knowledge of various types of panel control including contactors, overloads, relays.
• Experience and an understanding of various instrumentation including thermocouples, pressure transducers, level sensors with 24Vdc 4-20MA controls.
