Our client, a leading manufacturing business are looking for an experienced Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their team in Winsford.

As an Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer, you will to be part of the busy and demanding manufacturing environment reporting to the Engineering Manager.

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – The Rewards

• Salary up to £38,000 + Overtime Opportunity 
• Days based 8.00am - 17.00pm (Monday to Thursday) 8.00am - 14.00pm FRIDAY)

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Requirements

• H&S and Food safety
• Mathematics C or above
• organisational skills
• PC literate
• engineering or machinery experience

 Desirable

• Experience with packaging machines, metal detectors, Packaging related machinery
• Experience of working in a similar environment
• Understand principles health and safety and maintenance within a packaging environment 
• Work well in a team or on their own

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Responsibilities

• Ensure that line speeds are optimized
• Bands and wires on sheeter and setup of expander machines are carried out in a timely and efficient manner
• Cutters are kept in a good state of repair and are readily available when the plan requires
• Assist in trials / product development / breakage
• Maintenance PPM in a timely manner
• Promote and contribute to continuous improvement
• Minimize down time
• Train / guide / support production staff in the correct way to treat machinery
