Industrial Door Engineer – The Rewards

• Salary up £35,000 (up to £40,000 OTE)
• Call out bonus and overtime pay (Up to 2x)

Industrial Door Engineer – Requirements  

• A suitable, recognised engineering qualification
• Recent experience in a similar industry
• Highly self-motivated and able to work on own initiative
• Experienced with all or some – automatic doors, barriers, dock bumpers, dock levellers, dock shelters, fire doors, security doors, roller shutters, sectional and sliding doors.
• Automation
• Commercial skills
• Full UK driving licence

Industrial Door Engineer – Responsibilities      

• Attending client sites across Yorkshire and occasionally Nationwide
• Understanding customers’ technical requirements
• Liaising with customers to clarify requirements
• Installation of industrial/commercial doors, gates and barriers
• Servicing and maintenance to company standard
• Generating technical documentation as required
• Working on own initiative
• Working with senior members of the engineering team
• Call out rota
