Our client is a multinational business who is a worldwide provider of equipment and components used predominantly in the oil and gas industry. Due to growth, they are looking to add an IMPORT / EXPORT Coordinator to their team.
 
Import Export Operator – The Rewards

• Salary up to £35,000

Import Export Operator – Responsibilities

• Dealing with full shipment process from initial booking to completion of delivery
• Receive and record all import documentation. Check and verify the accuracy of documentation supplied (e.g. Invoice, preference certs, bills of lading and AWB).
• The organisation of export shipments, raising invoices, packing lists and other export paperwork that may be required
• Liaising with shipping lines and internal departments
• Complete all documentation accurately
• Dealing with customers on a daily basis

Import Export Operator – Requirements 

• You must have a minimum 2 years IMPORTS and or EXPORTS working for a MANUFACTURER
• Fully understand all processes, documentation and terminologies used in Air, Sea and/or Road Freight
• Previous experience in shipping / international trade with a manufacturing environment
• Customs experience is desirable but not essential
• Able to demonstrate a genuine passion for delivering great service
• A real self-starter with lots of enthusiasm and a sense of individuality
