About the Role and Company
 
Our client is on the lookout for an experienced WAREHOUSE SHIFT MANAGER who has experience in delivering results in a fast-paced distribution environment. As Shift Manager you will run a part of the operation for the Depot for the duration of a shift including all activity relating to the organisation and management of staff, process and resources deployed in that area of the Depot on that Shift. Their objective is to ensure consistent achievement of the volume, quality and efficiency targets on a shift by shift basis so that our client continues to deliver the highest quality, most cost effective offering for its customers across all products. They are a well established multinational logistics business with an incredible reputation within the industry!

Warehouse Shift Manager – Requirements 

• Must have previous experience managing shifts in a 3PL, FMCG OR Down Stream Access environment.
• Experience of resource planning against forecast and volumes. Experience in dealing with best practice around Quality and Cost management within an operational environment
• People management experience, including performance management, staff development, disciplinary and grievance, absence control and management
