Multi-Skilled Engineer - Requirements 

• HNC/ONC/Apprenticeship in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Have extensive experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Be competent in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, being a 60:40 split in either discipline. 

Multi-Skilled Engineer - Responsibilities
 
Our customer is a national manufacturer and a leader in their field with multiple sites across the UK. They have very ambitious growth plans are looking for candidates with the drive to step up into management positions in the future.
 
As an engineer you should be able to proactively carry out all aspects of plant maintenance to a planned schedule, seeking solutions where abnormalities occur. This requires consistently liaising with the team addressing breakdowns or interruptions to production and dealing promptly with any issues, escalating where necessary. An essential aspect of the role is the initiative to drive continuous improvement, reviewing current methodology and opportunities to improve the mills efficiency, safety, quality and performance.
