About the Company  
 
Our client is a multimodal freight forwarder who are well established and well-respected in the industry.
 
They are looking to add an Air Freight Export Supervisor to their team in Manchester in order to boost their Airfreight presence. This is a new opening for an experienced and commercially minded supervisor with extensive air freight knowledge.
 
The client would also consider a Senior Operator ready to take the next step up in the career to  Air Freight Export.

Air Freight Export Supervisor / Senior Operator – Requirements 

• A proven record within Air freight operations
• Strong Air freight export experience
• Experience within road and sea is desirable
• Commercial awareness and good client and in-house facing skills
• Experience with supervising a small team
• Good leadership skills
• CARGOWISE experience

Air Freight Export Supervisor / Senior Operator – Responsibilities 

• Building and motivating a small team of Air Freight Operators
• Providing quotations to clients for air freight export
• Dealing directly with, oversea offices, carriers and the airlines global sales agents for pricing and shipment updates
• Assisting with operations when needed (mainly exports)
• Client meeting to retain business
• Ensuring all company standards and procedures are adhered to.
