Projects Manager – Critical Power - East Midlands - Up to £60,000 

About the Company

We are looking for a Projects Manager to be based in out of the Midlands.
Working as part of the projects team for an expanding building services engineering company, the role is managing installations and increasingly £1Million + projects.
 
The role includes managing small works projects as well as large projects, requires the candidate to be familiar across a lot of critical power plant installations and cooling too, working collaboratively on new build and refurbishments with key clients, this role will manage multiple engineers and subcontractors, this role is client facing, and involves site based travel to site as and when required.
The sites are UK Wide and the office is near Leicester.

• Salary up to £60,000 dependant on experience

Projects Manager  - Responsibilities 

• Management and planning of all projects timelines
• Account manage clients - attend site meetings when required
• Deliver to set milestones on each project
• Estimating for additional works / variations
• Health and Safety / RAMS / Permits to work / Method statements
• Knowledge of critical power systems and integrated controls  

Projects Manager – Requirements
 
Ideal candidates will have experience of working within industrial, commercial, healthcare, datacentres and be familiar technically on Critical Power and Cooling plant installations and commissioning.

• Able to demonstrate leadership skills
• Excellent communication skills - verbal and written
• Delivered projects on time
• Computer literate - have knowledge of project software
• Estimating and getting sign off for variations
• Able to schedule and plan engineers workloads accordingly and labour requirements
• Willing to travel to meet Clients and visit sites as and when required

This role would suit an Electrical Contracts Manager, Project Engineer, Contract Engineer, Site Manager, Project Manager, Critical Power Engineer, Commissioning Engineer, or Lead Engineer who is looking to come off the tools and move into an office projects role.
