Our client is an FMCG Manufacturing business that has been around for many years. Due to recent investment and growth, they’re looking to hire a Multi Skilled Engineer to join their team in Blackpool.
  
Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer – The Rewards

• Up to £45,000 basic
• Overtime Opportunity 
• Shift pattern - 12 hour shifts - 4 on 4 off
• 2 days 2 nights

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Requirements

• H&S and Food Safety
• Mathematics C or above
• organisational skills
• PC literate
• engineering or machinery experience

 Desirable

• Experience with packaging machines, metal detectors, food related machinery
• Experience of working in a similar environment
• Understand the principles of food safety and maintenance within a food environment
• Work well in a team or on their own

Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer - Responsibilities

• Ensure that line speeds are optimised
• Bands and wires on sheeter and setup of expander machines are carried out in a timely and efficient manner
• Cutters are kept in a good state of repair and are readily available when the plan requires
• Assist in trials/product development/breakage
• Maintenance PPM in a timely manner
• Promote and contribute to continuous improvement
• Minimize downtime
• Train/guide/support production staff in the correct way to treat machinery
