Finance Assistant – Manufacturing & Distribution – West Bromwich – Salary up to £23,000 
 
About the Company  
 
Our client is an established and growing manufacturer and distributor of industrial and speciality gases for a wide range of industrial applications. Part of a growing international group the business is now seeking to appoint a Finance Assistant.
 
This role will be a great opportunity for someone with some admin/accounts experienced looking to move into an office-based role with Monday – Friday working hours and start their career within a Finance Team learning about a wide range of functions.  
 
Finance Assistant – The Rewards 

• Salary Up to £23,000 DOE

Finance Assistant – Requirements  

• Ideally you will have some experience of a finance/accounts function within a business
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Keen to learn and develop
• Strong organisation skills and an eye for detail

Finance Assistant – Responsibilities  

• Please note full training will be given to the successful candidate
• Direct Debit process to be performed daily includes requesting DD amounts from the bank and manually allocating payments against the customers invoices
• Data entry into the accounts system
• Processing new account (credit) application forms
• Conducting credit checks using 3rd party software
• Supporting the credit control function including chasing payments and sending out statements/ delivery notes etc
• Ensure all refunds to customers are processed in a timely manner
• Other tasks relating to the support of the Finance Team
